After the carpet has been thoroughly cleaned, a release button enables easy collection tank removal for disposal and a quick rinse out. Love this product for the price:
Item is a lifesaver since we have an 8-week old puppy. Cleans up everything. Keeps a charge for about 8 minutes which is more than enough for a day. Cleaner container is rather small so I use a plastic spray bottle because it seems to not require a refill as often. Otherwise, great product especially for the price. One thing I would like to see in a cordless model is a wand that is detachable.

Easy to use and effective:
I purchased this to deal with spots on carpets caused by 2 siamese cats with delicate stomachs. I found this Bissell to be well designed, easy to use, and it removed old spots I really didn't think would come up. (and that's not even using the special pet spot removal fluid, just the regular fluid that comes with the unit.) It sure beats scrubbing with hand brushes and sponges.
Does just what it claims to:
Great for people with pets. Yes, you could do the same thing with a lot of paper towels, carpet spray and a vacuum cleaner but it is a lot more convenient to just do it all with one machine. It's easy to clean and use, and it probably pays for itself with the money you save on paper towels. It will only do a small area since the liquid capacity is quite small, but it never claims to be a substitute for a whole room steam machine.
