The Sony ICF-C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm has a 0.9" green LED display that is easily viewable from across the room, but takes up very little space on your nightstand. It hosts a number of features including automatic time set, automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustment, dual alarm, built-in calendar, AM/FM tuner and full power memory back up. The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. Dual alarms with individual alarm indicators let you set two separate wake-up times with differing wake-up settings. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so when the power returns you don't have to re-set the clock.

Great clock with nice sound.:
I like that the digital face is easy to see and the screen color is easy on my eyes. It's very simple to use the dual alarm and I like the sound quality of the clock's radio and that the alarm isn't overly loud, blaring or harsh. It's a good buy and I'm really very happy to recommend this. I am not startled awake anymore, just gently like Grandma would do it!
poor display:
This clock has a very dim display, good only for a darkened room. It is also foolishly set up to automatically set itself to Eastern Time. I do not need a clock to set itself and find this feature irritating. Also, it is quite bulky, not sleek at all as advertised. I would not buy this product again and wish to warn others of its defects. I would send it back if it weren't more trouble than it's worth.
Works as advertised:
Works well. Had a slight time loss, reset the clock, holding it own now. Like the dual alarms.
Great clock.:
A good clock radio. There are a few nice things though - the time is automatic setup, options for the dual alarms sound, battery backup, very easy to operate and the radio actually works well. It also can adjustable brightness, but the numbers are not too bright. I may buy more.
